Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice is a statewide organization that galvanizes the moral persuasive power of clergy in support of economic justice and social equality campaigns. Immigration reform continues to be the paramount issue for the organization in 2013. Its goals include modifying detention and deportation policies, bolstering protections for domestic workers (the vast majority of whom are immigrant women), and improving conditions for detainees and their families.
