Circus Bella presents free summer performances in public parks and open spaces throughout the Bay Area. This one-ring circus features professional-level acts that span an array of circus traditions, including Chinese foot juggling, hambone body percussion, Mongolian-style contortion, South African gumboot, and American acrobatic jump-rope and Hula-Hoop. In 2017, Circus Bella will perform at ten Alameda and San Francisco county sites that include parks and community facilities in low-income neighborhoods. The troupe has been invited to perform at the 2017 Smithsonian Folklife Festival, a prestigious national showcase.
