The Center for Wellness and Achievement in Education partnered with San Francisco Unified School District to pilot and study a school-wide meditation initiative in high-need schools. Aimed at improving faculty and student wellness, this initiative led to consistent positive outcomes for participants, including better student and staff attendance, less negative student behavior, and more positive student-teacher interactions. This grant helps sustain the meditation program at Burton High School and supports the Center’s work with the school district to integrate wellness into leadership development and school reform efforts.
