| Description | Cantare Con Vivo (“To Sing With Life”) provides tuition-free music instruction to thousands of underserved Oakland public school students. Through the organization’s efforts, elementary school students receive weekly in-class instruction and motivated elementary, middle, and high school students receive advanced choral training via after-school choirs. Cantare’s programs stand out for their focus on low-income students and for their cultural competency, providing marginalized community members with the benefits of arts education. |
