The California EDGE Coalition is a non-partisan coalition of business, labor, education, workforce, and community stakeholders who unite in the belief that California’s future rests largely on the skills of its workforce. Examples of the Coalition’s work include championing improvement of the state’s Adult Education system and directing additional funding towards career technical education. This grant from the Fund supports the Coalition’s continued efforts to ensure effective implementation of policy changes that, at the local level, directly affect the resources available and the quality of programs that support workforce development.
