Butler Koshland Fellowships mentor and support the next generation of public service leaders. Each year, an advisory committee recommends exemplary leaders to serve as possible mentors. After selecting a mentor cohort, the program invites applications from potential fellows, carefully matching the mentor and fellow. Mentor / fellow pairs agree to detailed plans and goals for the year’s work together and both get paid for their time. Butler Koshland Fellowships are supported by an array of foundation and individual contributions. Fields of service change annually with the 2016 cohort focusing on the arts.
