| Description | This annual grant honors the legacy of giving from the Fund’s founders Walter & Elise Haas, providing general operating support to Building Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency (BOSS). BOSS helps homeless, poor, and disabled people achieve health and self-sufficiency, and fights against the root causes of poverty and homelessness. Their services include emergency shelters, transitional houses, education and employment programs, family and child development services, health and mental health care programs, leadership development and organizing initiatives, and re-entry initiatives. |
