| Description | Based at Fort Mason Center, Blue Bear School of Music teaches rock and roll. To reach audiences unlikely to make it to Fort Mason, Blue Bear conducts workshops after school on several campuses and at Glide Memorial Church, the Tenderloin Recreation Center, The Mix Teen Center at the San Francisco Public Library, and the Bayview YMCA. These programs engage low-income children and youth, providing them with the opportunity study, create, and record original music, sing, and play instruments. |
