| Description | The nonprofit Blue Bear School of Music teaches students of all ages and skill levels to play rock ’n’ roll. The Fort Mason-based school offers free programs that increase low-income children and youth’s opportunities to learn and play music. These include a variety of instruction and performance opportunities through the Bayview Hunters Point YMCA, the Tenderloin Recreation Center, and the Academy of Arts and Sciences high school. Now, to further benefit students with music education and engagement, Blue Bear is launching additional programs held at the San Francisco Public Library’s teen center. |
