Blended Learning Initiative combines traditional classroom learning with small group and online learning in order to provide students with increased opportunities to study at their own pace. Participating Oakland public schools receive supportive technology, teachers gain access to professional development, and students in highly-challenged neighborhoods benefit from a more personalized educational experience. This grant supports the continued success of blended learning in Oakland.
