| Description | Berkeley Repertory Theatre manages a theatre school that serves some 20,000 children and adults each year. Having drafted a new playwriting curriculum for fourth and fifth graders, it now seeks to refine and further develop it with teachers and students. Over a two-year period, Berkeley Rep will complete, introduce, and assess its new 10-week curriculum in approximately 20 Alameda County classrooms. This curriculum emphasizes civic engagement and teaches how individual participation can lead to societal change. |
