The Bay Area Workforce Funding Collaborative prepares disadvantaged students for well-paid careers by strengthening the capacity of community colleges. Participating foundations pool grant dollars to strategically invest in high-quality vocational training programs, targeted technical assistance, and program development. In 2015, the Collaborative’s focus will be on building and institutionalizing robust student support services and employer engagement strategies to further increase opportunity for disadvantaged students.
