Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC) is a nonprofit training provider in digital media arts. It provides access to media tools, education, and storytelling platforms to more than 7,500 individuals annually. BAVC also develops and manages high-quality programs for young teens and transitional-age youth pursuing careers in media arts or tech. Through one such offering, participants spend an intensive week learning to interview well and how to develop their portfolios, resumes, and LinkedIn profiles. Participants then get placed in 40-hour paid internships at local media or tech companies, helping to jump-start careers.
