Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC) is the region’s premier nonprofit training provider in digital media arts. It provides access to media tools, education, and storytelling platforms to more than 7,500 individuals annually. BAVC develops and manages high-quality programs for young teens and transitional-age youth and serves as a central referral point for an initiative that helps the unemployed find tech jobs. Through its Bridges Fellowship program, youth spend an intensive week learning soft skills before being placed in 40-hour paid internships at local media and tech companies.
