| Description | The Bay Area Video Coalition offers the region’s premier nonprofit training in digital media arts. It is also the lead agency for TechSF — San Francisco’s official training pipeline for low-income residents seeking technology sector jobs. This grant supports two of BAVC’s training programs for low-income, at-risk youth. One teaches high school students skills in audio engineering, video production, film, or coding during the school year and is followed by a paid summer internship. The other engages students in building the career-readiness and workplace skills they need to supplement the technical training most participants are receiving through City College of San Francisco. |
