| Description | Bay Area Girls Rock Camp advances music education and youth empowerment for girls, helping participants to receive instrument instruction, write original songs, attend workshops, and perform live. It serves 230 girls each year through summer camps and after school programs. No one is turned away for lack of funds and free practice studios and an instrument lending library further assist those facing economic challenges. This general operating support helps fund Bay Area Girls Rock Camp’s outreach to and engagement of a diverse group of girls. |
