While workforce-training programs help people to secure employment, many such programs lack the expertise to support graduates through the challenges that employment brings — challenges including budgeting, building credit, and saving. Recognizing the outstanding need, the Asset Funders Network engaged a financial consultant to train and assist workforce development agency leaders who seek to add financial-capability services to their offerings.
