| Description | San Francisco’s Asian Art Museum recognizes its need to work with living artists, reach new audiences, and broaden its base of support. Its planned 2014 exhibit Yoga: The Art of Transformation and the related public programming promise to draw Bay Area residents from India and South Asia as well as other Bay Area yoga practitioners. The project brings the Museum into working partnerships with local yoga practitioners, academic programs, and South Asian community groups to present programs on the impact of Indian art and culture in the United States. |
