| Description | The Alliance for California Traditional Arts identifies and supports California resident artists who practice traditional art forms stemming from around the globe. The Alliance’s sustenance of cultural practices in recent immigrant communities include two grant programs: one that awards grants to nonprofit organizations to help them foster public engagement, strengthen communities, and deepen cultural practices; and another that awards grants to experienced artists so they can undertake intensive apprenticeships with master-level traditional arts practitioners. |
