826 Valencia is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering creativity by encouraging young people to express themselves through writing. On top of other activities, it collaborates with teacher communities at Mission High School and Everett Middle School to integrate rigorous writing activities into student lessons. Together, teachers develop a common language and shared vision about writing instruction through project designs, rubrics, and lessons.
