| Description | SF CARD provides technical assistance and training to more than 100 non-profit organizations, helping them to be resilient in the face of disaster. Its staff sit on the Mayor’s Disaster Council and the city’s Emergency Operations Center, ensuring that a community voice is heard in government planning. In addition to earthquake preparedness, SF CARD is increasingly being asked to offer active shooter training and heat wave planning. This grant provides SF CARD with general operating support. |
