Faith leaders have always been well-positioned to focus public attention on critical societal issues. The San Francisco Interfaith Council leverages this power, amplifying diverse faith leaders’ efforts to house the homeless and protect the vulnerable. At a time of increased intergroup tensions nationally, the Council is a resource and conduit to the broader faith community. The Fund provides general operating support to this organization so it can engage clergy of all faiths in social justice efforts that benefit the vulnerable residents of San Francisco.
