| Description | San Francisco Youth Theatre offers after-school tuition-supported classes and operates several youth performing ensembles that meet at two sites in the Mission District. It reaches many immigrants and others for whom English is not their first language. At Cesar Chavez Elementary School, it works with classrooms of deaf and hard-of-hearing students, for example. This grant supports San Francisco Youth Theatre’s programs in public school and after-school venues that are free or very low cost to participants. |
