| Description | Oakland Youth Chorus offers multicultural music classes to students in 11 East Bay public schools. It sponsors an acclaimed youth chorus that features songs from around the world and that addresses those songs’ historical and social contexts. Recent grants to Oakland Youth Chorus from the Fund have focused on helping families and schools to afford to participate, increasing the Chorus’ reach across socio-economic barriers. |
