| Description | The Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life is one of the five largest Jewish artifact-based collections in the world and the only one that is part of a major research university. More than 90% of its collection remains to be digitized, however, and methods to engage virtual visitors need to be designed and actualized. With support from the Fund, the Magnes Collection seeks to create compelling content and applications such as online tutorials, platforms that enable visitors to create their own digital stories, and events that foster the development of new applications. |
