While some of the country’s most culturally diverse writing is published by small presses, these entities tend to operate modestly and most lack the resources to adequately market and distribute their publications. Small Press Distribution helps 400 small publishers overcome this challenge by marketing and distributing their books. In the process, Small Press Distribution produces events that connect books to new audiences. These events include reading and discussion groups in Bay Area senior centers and in Oakland public library branches.
