| Description | Each One Reach One brings a well-regarded playwriting program to incarcerated youth, sending professional theater artists into juvenile hall to mentor students. Through the daily, two-week program, youth get coached through writing their own original plays. Students then direct professional actors in performances of the plays for their peers and community members. With W&EHF support, Each One Reach One will offer three San Francisco playwriting sessions, helping participants to catch up educationally. The program serves as a hook that encourages students to complete their GEDs, earn high school diplomas, and attend college classes. |
