| Description | Reach Institute for School Leadership has prepared and trained more than 600 Bay Area teachers and school leaders using its hands-on approach. It partners with Oakland Unified School District (OUSD) on two efforts. The first establishes a teacher residency program that helps afterschool workers become Oakland teachers. The second identifies emerging district leaders, enrolls them in its administrative credential program, and collaborates with OUSD to integrate district-specific leadership and teaching frameworks into its curriculum. This partnership with OUSD gives participants high-quality, job-relevant coaching and leadership development. |
