Community Housing Partnership (CHP) provides permanent affordable housing with on-site services for chronically homeless individuals. Its training program prepares clients for jobs within CHP’s social enterprise, Solutions SF — a temporary employment agency for desk clerk positions. After receiving classroom and on-the-job training, most graduates of Solutions SF transition into permanent positions with mainstream employers, making this a promising opportunity for people with deep employment barriers. This grant helps Community Housing Partnership to develop additional training and placement capacity for a higher tier of jobs.
