MyPath

Program Area(s)
Description

MyPath promotes financial capability in high school-age youth from low-income and unbanked households. It teaches participants skills in budgeting, saving, understanding financial institutions, managing debt, and building credit. MyPath also provides youth with savings and spending accounts so they can learn through doing. Leveraging key lessons from behavioral economics, the program ensures youth use direct deposit and allocate each paycheck across saving and spending accounts. Its saving incentives and peer-based educational tools guide youth to increased financial capability.
