Working under the auspices of Jewish Learning Works, the Curriculum Initiative provides meaningful Jewish and multicultural opportunities to students at Bay Area high schools. The group emphasizes diversity by specifically reaching out to Jews of color, Jews from interfaith families, and LGBTQ Jews. It trains faculty and teachers, coordinates student clubs, and runs school-wide assemblies. Exploring Jewish and interfaith themes, Curriculum Initiative programs increase interfaith dialogue and influence discourse rooted in a multicultural framework.
