| Description | Each spring, CubaCaribe produces a highly anticipated festival of Cuban music and dance. Fiscal sponsor Dance Brigade has incubated the festival for a decade, but in 2014 it will branch off to incorporate as an independent nonprofit. CubaCaribe’s immediate goals include developing an effective working board, diversifying fundraising, and maintaining a consistently paid staff to provide greater continuity over the years. CubaCaribe is well poised to strengthen traditional arts programming for local immigrant communities and, for this, receives support from the Fund. |
