Community Housing Partnership provides permanent affordable housing to nearly 2,000 formerly homeless people in San Francisco. It also offers an array of services designed to help residents improve their economic stability. This grant from the Fund contributes to a significant expansion of one current Community Housing Partnership program—a training pathway that prepares residents to take desk clerk positions in affordable housing buildings. The organization will be further aligning this training program with a social enterprise it operates, one that provides housing developments with staff. Together, these two programs will combine to increase workforce opportunities for those striving to regain economic security.
