Description

In 2000, with Fund support, the Institute for Jewish and Community Research provided groundbreaking research on Jewish diversity, finding that Jews of color represent approximately 15% of Jewish households. In response, the Institute created Bechol Lashon (In Many Tongues), a program to support Jews of color through leadership development, diversity training, multicultural Jewish holiday celebrations, and a residential summer camp. The issue of race continues to be one of the most divisive in America, and few organizations are as qualified to facilitate these difficult conversations as Bechol Lashon.
